Oh the places we've been! (Scroll down to see our slide show)
Aside from our monthly meetings where we do food and craft activities and learn about the world around us we host monthly hikes where we explore local trails and nature sanctuaries as a club with our families. Community service is also a regular part of our activity. For example we have made treats for seniors, raised funds for the the homeless and contributed to the local food pantry. In the past we have gone to Five Rivers, Hollyhock Hollow, Pine Hollow, and Thatcher Park to name a few. Also we organize special outings to see animals and explore local historical sites. In the past we visited the animals at the Catskill Animal Sanctuary and we plan to do a field trip to the Martin Van Buren National Historic Site and FDR's Mansion in Hyde Park, NY. Our members also participate in the Altamont Fair by entering various exhibits. Feel free to join us at one of our monthly meetings to check us out!
